Fisher Catholic High  School: A Tradition of Excellence in Faith, Academics, and Activities
 
William V. Fisher Catholic High School is dedicated to helping all students acquire skills on the spiritual, intellectual, emotional, social, and physical levels. In addition, equal emphasis is placed on the development of religious values, academic achievement, and social experience. Bound by charity to the community, and penetrated by the apostolic spirit, students, faculty, and staff commit themselves to the practice of Christian virtues along with promotion of a safe learning environment for continuous growth within our faith community.
 
The call to teach as Jesus teaches us and to build God’s Kingdom is grounded in the development of faith and morality. The Theology Department at Fisher Catholic provides an atmosphere of truth, respect, and prayer that is entrenched in the gospel virtues and teachings. A program that captures this emphasis on spiritual development is the Kairos Retreat. Kairos is an off-campus retreat format that establishes student ownership in an atmosphere of witness and community. This recent tradition is currently benefiting from alumni members that return to participate in this dynamic spiritual experience.
 
Fisher Catholic focuses on a college preparatory curriculum represented by the fact that over 95% of our graduates extend their schooling with some form of post-secondary training, which is typically at the college/university level. It is always a pleasure to hear from graduates who consistently report that they were extremely well prepared by Fisher Catholic High School. Fisher Catholic is blessed with a faculty that expresses the joy of learning through the strength of their instruction. The curriculum offers a wide variety of challenging courses and the ongoing commitment to enrich the coursework with new additions. This tradition of academic excellence is demonstrated by the Quiz Team that earned Ohio Academic Championships in 2004 and 2006.
 
Our athletic and extra-curricular activities provide all students opportunities to compete and to develop character traits that will serve them well as members of Church communities and social organizations. Fisher Catholic offers a diverse set of activities in a structure where each individual is capable of participation in a positive team environment. These well rounded educational programs are firmly set on the principle of Christ’s presence amongst us and the values of faith that are the foundation for our Catholic community.
