St. Francis DeSales High School’s rich tradition of excellence develops in the classrooms, athletic fields, theater, music hall and art studios. With over 30 clubs and 20 varsity sports, DeSales students fill their four years with memorable experiences and lasting friendships.
 
Guided by faith, family and tradition the mission of St. Francis DeSales High School is to provide an educational experience in the Catholic tradition which prepares each student spiritually, intellectually, aesthetically, and socially to live a positive, productive life. 
 
Designated by the U.S. Department of Education twice as an Exemplary Blue Ribbon School, St. Francis DeSales High school offers twelve Advanced Placement classes including Senior English, Latin IV, Spanish IV/V, Italian IV, French IV/V, Calculus AB, Calculus BC, Calculus-Based Physics, Chemistry, European History, U.S. Government & Politics, and Psychology. Students also have the opportunity to earn college credit through Dual Enrollment courses offered by Ohio Dominican University. St. Francis DeSales High School has a Math Lab, Writing Center and Academic Resource Center, providing students with additional opportunities for tutoring and group study sessions during the school day as well. 99% of the graduates from the class of 2008 attended a post-secondary institution this year, and earned in excess of 7 million dollars in scholarships.
 
With over a quarter of a million dollars in financial aid given out to current students for the 2008-09 school year, St. Francis DeSales High school is proud to continue our tradition of excellence to all who walk through our doors.
