It is a state-chartered, Catholic elementary school located in Whitehall, Ohio. It is a one-floor school building with 9 classrooms, a computer lab, a library/media center, an extended day room, music room, art room, school office, nurse’s office, gymnasium and two tutor rooms. Our kindergarten program is full day.The staff consists of two administrators, ten full-time teachers, and three part-time teachers. The school uses the Auxiliary Service Program monies to fund one full time and one part time instructional support staff as well as a nurse, a school psychologist and speech pathologist. The school fully funds the services of four full time teacher aides. Twenty percent of the teaching staff have earned their Masters Degree in Education and thirty-three percent have earned hours beyond their Bachelors. Forty-seven percent of the staff has eleven or more years of experience. The school is proud to have a National Board Certified teacher on staff.Holy Spirit School offers academic excellence in a Catholic Christian environment. It makes a unique contribution to the range of educational choices available in the community.
