The first school building opened its doors as St. Mary’s Academy in 1830. That building was lost to a fire in 1866. In 1885 it was rebuilt and reopened as Holy Trinity School. It operated until 1967 and was torn down and replaced by the current building. Holy Trinity School as we know it today was completed in 1968.The original purpose of the school remains the same: to educate the youth in Perry County in an excellent academic Christian atmosphere and spread the Word of God.The historic significance and deep Catholic heritage which permeate our school environment make Holy Trinity a uniquely special place to teach and to learn. The low pupil-teacher ratio enables individualized attention for all students, regardless of varying needs. Our teaching staff includes eight classroom teachers, technology coordinator, librarian, tutor and Title I Reading Specialist.Due to the generosity of our parents and parishioners and the talent and commitment of our teachers, Holy Trinity students are enriched by many curriculum extensions:- Guest speakers - Homework Club - Scrap Booking Club- Liturgies - Student Council - Children’s Choir- Character education - Math Counts - First in Math- Field trips - Musicals - Mini-Olympics- Science Fair - Service education - AssembliesRegistrations are being accepted at this time.
