Tuscarawas Central Catholic Elementary School provides for an experience of Catholic spirituality.In each room of our school a sign is posted, “Be it known to all who enter here that Christ is the reason for this school, the unseen but ever present teacher in its classes, the model of its faculty, the inspiration of its students.”It is this welcoming, accepting, and nurturing premise that provides the strong foundation for the school and the parish community.Our Students’ Progress in AchievementResults of California Achievement Tests/Terra Nova Tests administered in third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades indicate a continued improved performance by Tuscarawas Central Catholic Elementary students. In each of the last five years, our test scores have been higher than national averages in each category.Other ProgramsKindergarten Academy is a program focusing on enrichment and reinforcement of Kindergarten skill development. Students have the option of attending half day Kindergarten or staying the whole day and attending the academy program.School Age Child Care begins at 7:00 AM and continues until 6:00 PM. Many students participate in SACC as an after-school program. Students who attend the after-school program will receive a snack, help with homework, and engage in many fun activities.
