Philosophy 
St. Mary School exists primarily as a Catholic educational institution to further the Church’s mission by teaching, celebrating, and witnessing the Catholic message, identity, and heritage for Catholic families. An environment of human dignity, intellectual and personal growth is fostered by recognizing, challenging, and nurturing each student’s unique gifts and talents. The school promotes a spirit of cooperation and creates an atmosphere of responsibility and respect toward all God’s creation.
 
Teaching Staff
St. Mary School is fully accredited by the State of Ohio and the Ohio Catholic Conference and meets or exceeds all State curriculum requirements. All teachers are carefully selected and meet the certification standards of the Ohio Department of Education and the requirements of the Diocesan Religious Education Department.
 
Teachers at St. Mary strive to develop in the students an awareness of themselves as unique individuals in their relation to others, to install in them an awareness of the responsibility of their Christian being in our society, and further, to provide the challenge for developing their intellectual powers to the fullest. Religious instruction includes Masses, Sacramental preparation, daily prayers, liturgical celebration and service projects.
 
Auxiliary Service
St. Mary School receives state funding to provide the following services: Guidance Counselor; Reading; Speech/Language Therapy; School Nurse; School Psychologist.

Library and Multi-Media Center; Computer Lab; Speech and Reading facilities; Band Room; Full service Cafeteria; Stage/Gymnasium; Transportation provided by Marion City, Marion Catholic and Marion County School Districts.
